The “CEIMArs” is the “Italian interdisciplinary Center for Performing Arts Medicine”, a cultural non-profit Italian Association born with these aims: to promote the health prevention in Performing Arts Medicine, and to share scientific knowledges in the areas of medicine, rehabilitation, education and all of the arts.

Performing Arts Medicine Doctor, ENT specialist and Bioethics & Sexology specialist, works for individual actors, wind instruments players, dancers and singers, for many singing/dance/music Associations and, onstage, for many Italian and foreign theaters.
He teaches "Performing Arts Medicine applied to singing" at the Conservatory in Messina, Italy. He was an expert of Italian Linguistics in The Faculty of Literature and Philosophy, Messina University, Italy. Since 2005 until 2010, He was an adjunct professor in “Vocal apparatus physiology” in the Faculty of Singing Arts (ISSSM ‘Arcangelo Corelli’) in Messina, Italy and in “General psychopathology and sexology” in the Master's degree program in Artistic Vocology (Faculty of Logopaedics, Bologna University, Italy) in Ravenna, Italy. In addition, he was a professor of “Body and voice signals of sexual abuse” in the Logopaedics Faculty of Bologna University, Italy.
He has gradually reached many professional experiences by working (in Italian and foreigner excellence Institutions) above all in the areas of the acrobatics and in that of disodias' prophylaxis and rehabilitation but also, as permanent adviser, in the strictly phonosurgical area (in Phoniatrics and Phonosurgery Dept. of “Bufalini” Hospital, Cesena, Italy).
Periodically, he is invited, as lecturer, in several Courses (often authorized by ECM Service of Italian Health Ministry) Congresses or Conventions (in Italy, Europe, and USA) and in residential masterclasses, above all directed to singers, dancers, wind instruments players and/or actors as well as to medicine and rehabilitation specialists that “cure and care” the artists.
In 2008, on behalf of Saint Paul's Italian Association – Sicily, He has organized and directed, in Agrigento, Sicily, Italy, the 1st International Medical Convention “Performing Arts medicine. From prophylaxis to treatment” and, in the last 5th – 7th December 2010, he directed the 2nd edition (www.ceimars.it/download/pamec10.pdf).
He is author (and coauthor) of many scientific works about "Phoniatrics" and "Performing Arts Medicine", and has printed the book “Voice and Sexuality” (in Italian). The last book “Touching and contacting in Vocology. Building & Rehabilitation, Healing & Trauma in Phoniatrics and Logopaedics” (in Italian) has been just printed, with an explained iconographic atlas, in September 2010. In February 2012, his new book, "Voice & Silence", will be printed in Italian.
He was consultant in vocal art medicine for e-PhonoscopeTM, official Journal of The Pacific Voice & Speech Foundation (S. Francisco, USA), Institution in which, since May 2011, he is Honorary Member.
Since November 2010, he is an Associate Faculty Member of “The Faculty of 1000 Medicine” (London, UK) in the area: “Laryngology, Phonosurgery & Speech Evaluation”: F1000.
